Hettie O’Brien writes about political economies and cities for Jacobin Magazine, the London Review of Books, City Metric and the New Socialist. She studied Philosophy and recently completed an MPhil at the University of Cambridge. Before returning to South London, Hettie lived in Washington D.C. as a reporter covering monopolies and corporate capitalism.
