After graduating from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Architecture, Tinatin continued her studies in Barcelona and finished her Master Studies in Urban Design in 2009. Currently Tinatin is based in Berlin. She is a PhD candidate at the TU Berlin, her research topic refers to post-soviet peripheries and in particular the large panel block settlement of Gldani in Tbilisi.
