As of today, Failed Architecture commits to the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI), building on our 2021 commitment to Architects and Planners Against Apartheid’s statement calling for solidarity with Palestine. Our adherence to the PACBI guidelines is not a boycott of individuals—it means we do not collaborate with Israeli cultural institutions or those who normalise the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. 

In addition, we will allocate our limited editorial capacity to articles addressing the destruction of Gaza, the occupation of Palestine, and the struggle for Palestinian liberation. We take this action as signatories of the Writers Against the War on Gaza (WAWOG) solidarity statement, standing against the widespread censorship of writers who criticise Israel’s oppressive regime. By doing so, we hope to make a small contribution to the understanding of the reality in Palestine.
